Venue of the 10th International Symposium on Distributed Autonomous Robotics Systems

The conference will take place at the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL), one of the two federal institutes of technology in Switzerland.

EPFL, in its idyllic location on the shores of Lake Geneva, brings together a campus of more than 10,000 people. With 107 nationalities represented on campus and more than 50% of our professors coming from abroad, the School is one of the world's most cosmopolitan universities. Together with the University of Lausanne, the two campuses count approximately 20,000 students, nearly 10% of the population of the larger Lausanne metropolitan area. This gives the city a unique dynamic.

EPFL is a 12-minute ride by metro from downtown Lausanne, and 45 minutes by train from Geneva International Airport. It is one of the most appealing areas in Europe with a beautiful view of the Alps' highest peak, the Mont-Blanc, it's beautiful lakeside and convivial center. Lausanne is also known internationally as the seat of the International Olympic Committee.

This fascinating new building brings new standards to the interaction between people and architecture. The picture to the right shows the EPFL in its scenic setting at the shores of Lake Geneva.
